Killaloe Youth Project: A Space for Young People to Connect, Create, and Thrive
The Killaloe Youth Project, part of Clare Youth Service, is offering a safe, welcoming space for young people aged 12–18.
Supported by UBU Your Place Your Space, this project is all about empowering youth through creativity, community, and connection. Located in the Family Resource Centre, The Green, Killaloe (V94 W7X6), the project provides a variety of activities and programmes designed to meet the interests and needs of local young people. Whether you’re looking for a place to hang out, learn new skills, or get involved in exciting events, Killaloe Youth Project has something for you.
What’s On? Current Programmes
- Wednesday 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM Eco Action Killaloe – Get involved in environmental projects and make a difference in your community.
- Thursday 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM Youth Café & Music Space – A relaxed space to enjoy music, chat, and creative vibes.
- Friday 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Junior Drop-In (Ages 13–15) 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Senior Drop-In (Ages 15–18) Includes Drop-In, Hangout Time, and Creative Space for ages 15–18.
- Saturday 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Creative Space (Ages 15–18) – Explore art, photography, film-making, and more.
Activities Include – Hangout spaces * Movies & board games * Music & gaming * Baking & trips * BBQs & film-making * Photography & art * Film and TV make-up …and much more!
Special Holiday Opening We’re open on 20th December and 2nd & 3rd January – drop in for free and join the fun!
