OUR VISION

The Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre aspires to be part of an inclusive and dynamic community where people feel comfortable in seeking and providing help and support to one another and whose members uphold equality for all groups, families and individuals so that opportunities for employment, security, personal growth and good health are open to all.

OUR MISSION

The Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre aims to achieve its objectives by providing a well-resourced, secure Centre, staffed by a friendly and effective team who will pro-actively support individuals, families and our wider community in an inclusive and professional manner.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The ethos of the Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre is reflected in our dedication to the provision of quality services which ensure and promote the core values of respect, equality and inclusion.
In facilitating a supportive environment we aim to foster a sense of safety and well-being where by individuals and groups in the community are empowered to actively participate.

The Killaloe/Ballina Community & Family Resource Centre is situated in Killaloe and services the towns of Killaloe and Ballina and their immediate environs. Killaloe/Ballina is a twin township located approximately 15 miles from both Nenagh Town and Limerick City. Until 2017 the catchment area which the centre represents was made up from two electoral areas, the first being Killaloe (16134 134) and the second being Ballina (22027 027). To better reflect where people, availing of the FRC’s services hail from the Board of the Family Resource Centre decided to increase its catchment area from the 2 Electoral Divisions to 19, as shown on the following map.
