“Community Development involves people coming together in groups to identify their collective needs and to develop programmes which meet these needs. The process or the way the work is carried out is as important as the programme of development being undertaken.

THE KILLALOE/BALLINA COMMUNITY & FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE AIMS TO BE A VEHICLE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE KILLALOE/BALLINA AREA.
WE WELCOME GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO SEEK TO ACHIEVE CHANGE FOR THEMSELVES OR OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY AND WE PROVIDE OR HELP FIND SUPPORTS FOR THEM TO ACHIEVE THIS.
