Eco Action Killaloe Presents: Swap Shop

Eco Action Killaloe Presents: SWAP SHOP – A Sustainable Way to Refresh Your Wardrobe Looking for a fun, eco-friendly way to update your wardrobe and celebrate Halloween?
Eco Action Killaloe has the perfect event for you! Join us for the Swap Shop on Friday, 24th October, from 4 PM to 7 PM, facilitated by Clare Youth Service, at The Family Resource Centre, Killaloe (V94 W7X6).
Why a Swap Shop? Fast fashion is one of the biggest contributors to environmental waste. By swapping clothes instead of buying new ones, we reduce textile waste, save money, and give pre-loved items a second life. It’s a win-win for your wallet and the planet!
How It Works
  • Bring up to 6 items of clothing in good, clean condition.
  • Each item will earn you 1, 2, or 3 tokens.
  • Use your tokens to swap for new-to-you items. * Check out with your refreshed wardrobe!
Extra Perks
  • Halloween Costume Hack: Reuse old clothes to create the perfect spooky outfit!
  • Food and Drinks: Available on the day to keep you fuelled while you browse.
  • Warm Clothes Collection: Donations will go to Saint Vincent de Paul, helping those in need as the colder months approach.
Why You Should Come This event isn’t just about clothes—it’s about community, sustainability, and creativity. Whether you’re hunting for a cosy sweater, a unique Halloween costume, or simply want to meet like-minded people, the Swap Shop is the place to be.
