What do we mean by family?
We use the term ‘family’ to include the personal relationships which link people together. This may be in the same household, or in different households. The links may be biologically or socially created and may or may not have a legal formal status. Family relationships include those between couples, married or life partners /cohabiters; parents/ guardians and their children; siblings; grandparents and their grandchildren, and extended family members.

Benefits of family support
Parenting children is an important and often challenging job!
Sometimes parents, grand-parents, guardians or primary caregivers need support, encouragement and direction. Or simply a listening ear – to talk about how to deal with childhood, teenage or parental issues that occur in every family
That’s what we’re here for!
By seeking early assistance in coping with any day-to-day challenges within your family, or in the broader context of school and community, you can help prevent issues or difficulties escalating, leading to a healthier family environment in which children can thrive.
